Shauna Smitka
Chief of Staff
As Chief of Staff at NCM Associates, Shauna Smitka plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s strategic and operational priorities in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Leadership Team. She provides organizational oversight and coordination across departments to ensure alignment with NCM’s long-term vision and its commitment to operational excellence under the OneNCM framework.
Shauna serves as a central connector between leadership and teams throughout the organization, helping to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans that deliver measurable results. Her focus includes optimizing internal communication, streamlining processes, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to strengthen NCM’s ability to scale efficiently and serve clients effectively.
Shauna is passionate about creating clarity, fostering teamwork, and ensuring that NCM’s associates have the structure, tools, and support needed to succeed. Her leadership contributes to NCM’s continued growth as an industry leader and trusted partner to the automotive and business communities it serves.
Shauna started her career in the agriculture industry working in sales and then eventually moving to the public sector. At USDA, she worked her way up to Deputy Chief of Staff within the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Fair Trade Practices Program. There she worked on a variety of special projects and initiatives that impacted three divisions, ranging from software implementation to employee engagement.
Shauna holds a bachelor's degree in Feed Science and Management with a minor in Leadership Studies from Kansas State University. She also has a Project Management Certificate and Six Sigma Black Belt.
Outside of work, Shauna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, attending K-State football games, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
