Steve Kain
Moderator/Consultant
Steve is an accomplished former car dealer and general manager with deep retail automotive roots acquired through his 32 years of experience in a multi-generational family dealership. Steve’s variable operations expertise was honed as a sales manager for Kain Nissan and Kain Family Ford-Lincoln-Mercury, where he also managed the pre-owned operation before assuming total operational responsibility for bottom-line performance as the general manager and dealership principal. His exposure to fixed operations and F&I came from his tenure with Jack Kain Ford, where he worked the retail, wholesale, and back parts counters, and served in various capacities as service manager, rental manager, and finance manager.
Steve’s hands-on management style and keen oversight of two successful dealerships makes him uniquely qualified as an experienced and proven resource to the members of his NCM 20 Groups, not only as a meeting discussion facilitator, but as an expert automotive consultant helping them focus on, and attain, their dealerships’ individual and collective operational improvement goals. Steve and his wife, Barbara, reside in Bradenton, Florida.

One member told us, “I want you to know what a great job I believe Steve Kain does at our 20 Group. I want you to know that he’s very devoted to all of the dealers in the group, works hard to do the right thing and has done a great job reviewing the composite in pointing out deficiencies for each of us in the group. He’s working hard to make us all better.”
