Jeff Rubin

Jeff Rubin is a 20 Group moderator and dealership consultant with nearly four decades of experience in dealership management. Jeff works closely with dealership leadership teams, applying his extensive experience to help them identify areas for improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and ultimately drive growth. His goal is to guide dealerships through continuous improvement using data-driven insights and proven strategies.
Jeff is passionate about building cohesive teams that are not only committed to success but also empowered to contribute their best work. He believes in the power of analytics to continuously refine core processes and drive meaningful results. By fostering a collaborative culture, Jeff helps organizations unlock their full potential through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Jeff began his career in 1987 as a car salesperson at Manhattan Ford in New York City. Recognizing the potential of the retail auto industry, he earned his MBA while climbing the ranks from sales to F&I, then to sales management, ultimately becoming General Manager at just 31. Jeff’s unique experience includes serving as President and General Manager of a factory-owned dealership and creating a cutting-edge CRM and desking application. As COO of a five-dealership group on Long Island, Jeff built an outstanding team and implemented policies and processes that led to remarkable company success.
Jeff holds a BS in Finance from the University at Buffalo and an MBA in Marketing and Process Management from Fordham University. Throughout his career, he has consistently pursued opportunities for professional development, furthering his expertise in dealership management, technology development, marketing, and process improvement.
Outside of work, Jeff is a passionate music lover and audio enthusiast with a deep appreciation for high-quality sound. He’s also an accomplished woodworker and cabinet maker. In his downtime, Jeff enjoys dining out and traveling with his wife, as well as spending time at home with their three wonderful cats.
