Jason Chavez is a 20 Group Moderator that works closely with dealer principals and leadership teams to facilitate performance-driven discussions, benchmark results, and help members implement strategies that improve profitability and long-term dealership success.

Jason is passionate about helping dealers learn from one another, share best practices, and build stronger, more resilient businesses.

Jason Chavez brings more than 25 years of automotive retail experience to his role as a 20 Group Moderator with NCM Associates. Having spent his career in dealership operations and leadership, Jason offers a practical, results-driven perspective that resonates with dealer principals and management teams across the country.

Prior to joining NCM Associates, Jason served as Dealer Principal and owner-operator of Chavez-Jessup GMC in Indio, California, located in the I-10 Auto Mall. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, strong financial management, and developing high-performing dealership teams. His hands-on experience across dealership departments gives him a deep understanding of the challenges dealers face in today’s competitive automotive marketplace.

Jason is a former student of Texas A&M University where he earned his Master's degree and is a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Candidate Academy.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys staying active through strength training, desert hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Living in the Palm Springs area, he takes advantage of the region’s trails and year-round sunshine whenever possible. Jason also enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and staying connected to the Aggie network from his time at Texas A&M. He is also an avid Seattle Seahawks and Mariners fan.
