Ashley Cavazos
Moderator/Consultant
Ashley Cavazos is a Digital Performance Consultant and Moderator on NCM’s Digital Performance Solutions team. She is responsible for helping dealerships improve their digital, marketing, and variable operations performance through consulting, 20 Group facilitation, and hands-on process training. Her work includes analyzing digital traffic and lead behavior, optimizing marketing and advertising strategies, strengthening lead-handling and appointment processes, and guiding teams through AI adoption and modern customer communication best practices. Ashley also collaborates on new program development, including AI-focused curriculum, dealership process training, and specialized marketing groups.
Ashley is passionate about transforming complex digital and marketing strategies into clear, consistent, and actionable processes that drive real operational improvements. She believes that dealerships perform at their highest level when marketing, digital traffic insights, and variable operations processes all work in alignment. Her focus is helping leaders and teams understand the “why” behind the data so they can create more effective customer experiences and improve performance across every step of the journey.
Ashley has spent more than 15 years in automotive retail, working her way from receptionist to BDC to Marketing/Digital Performance Director and platform leader for multi-rooftop organizations. Most recently, she led marketing for DeMontrond Auto Group, overseeing digital strategy, brand management, vendor performance, content, and community engagement across 12 automotive and 4 RV rooftops.
She has extensive experience in GA4 traffic analysis, social and content strategy, Amazon DSP, lead management processes, and large-scale campaign execution.
She is also a founding member and former Executive Chair of NCM's Marketing Directors 20 Group (20M3), where she helped build frameworks for digital performance benchmarking and collaborative best practices. Throughout her career, Ashley has launched high-impact community programs, scaled internal marketing teams, and strengthened the customer journey through improved process, training, and technology adoption.
Ashley attended Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and has continued to expand her expertise through extensive industry training in digital marketing, analytics, AI applications, and dealership process improvement.
She has been recognized for her leadership and industry impact as a recipient of Automotive News 40 Under 40 (2022), Auto Remarketing Dealers Under 40 (2023), and Auto Remarketing Women in Retail (2025).
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling with her husband Jesse—especially their annual Disney trips—attending Astros games, exploring new restaurants, and discovering new places around Texas. At home, she loves spending time with their two senior pups, Baxter and Benson.
Ashley is deeply passionate about community service and creating pathways for women in leadership. She volunteers with the Junior League of The Woodlands, supporting local outreach and community impact initiatives. She also serves as President of the Women of Color Automotive Network (WOCAN), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit with more than 1,300 members across automotive, powersports, mobility, marine, RV, and adjacent sectors. Through WOCAN, she helps lead programs focused on mentorship, professional development, and expanding opportunities for women of color across the entire industry ecosystem.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to support dealers through NCM’s Digital Performance Solutions team and to help strengthen the connection between marketing, digital insights, and operational performance. Staying ahead of emerging technology—especially AI—and helping leaders understand how to apply it in practical, people-centered ways is a responsibility I take seriously. I’m excited to contribute to the continued evolution of NCM’s programs and to help our dealer partners remain cutting-edge, competitive, and confident in a rapidly changing landscape.
